April 2023Prayer Requests from Nathan and Naomi

Thank you for the prayers for the baptism. It went really well, yet there were definitely challenges! Noah ended up being unable to come because of his sickness. This was really sad for Solomon as he really admires Noah. Naomi came just for the baptism part, then drove back home to be with Noah. Noah has now been admitted to the hospital, where he and Naomi spent the night last night (Monday night). Solomon felt he should be with his family rather than spending the night as originally planned, so after the baptism he and his brother in law drove back home. Nonetheless, we got to have some great fellowship and encouragement time before they left. Natania, Nigel, and I (Nathan) stayed at the villa with our Sri Lankan brother and sisters and celebrated Natania's birthday on Sunday (without Naomi and Noah). Then, once we got back home from the trip, extended family came over in the evening to wish Natania a happy birthday. I (Nathan) got sick the following day (Monday), but am feeling better today.

• Praise Him that we were able to still have the baptism and celebrate with Solomon.

• Pray for Noah's full recovery and that doctors would be able to find out what is going on. He has lost some weight.

• Pray for Solomon's continued growth and impact on his family.

• Pray for strength for Naomi, who has planned birthdays, taken care of Noah, planned trips, and choreographed dance performances for the end of the term all in the past few days.

• Pray for my full recovery as well.
