August 2020 Prayer Needs from Travis and Natasha Phillips

Dear prayer partners,

    Thank you for praying for us! We have a few praises and prayer requests.

1. Please pray that we would be able to move to the Philippines in late-December, and that things will be less restrictive at that time, so that we’re able to travel from city to city, meet with the Filipino church, meet with language helpers, and Eleanor  will be able to play outside with new friends. 

2. One of our family members had a brother pass away unexpectedly and suddenly. Please pray for comfort for his immediate family. 

3. Praise that we’re able to continue trade-language acquisition for the southern Philippines while we wait for the borders to re-open. Please pray for the health of our language helper who struggles with bad acid re-flux and it causes her a lot of discomfort. We had to cut our last language session short due to her not feeling well.

4. Praise the Lord that we reached the 90% funding mark! We are just 7 financial partners away (at our average monthly gift amount) from being fully funded for the Philippines — everything in God’s perfect timing! 

5. Praise that the Lord provided us with an apartment in Atascadero in our price range! We feel very blessed to be all moved in for our remaining months in the USA.
