February 2021 Prayer Needs from Travis and Natasha Phillips

Dear prayer partners,

   Thank you for praying for our family and upcoming ministry in the Philippines. We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to bring our requests before the Lord. To give a brief update: there is currently a ban on travel into the Philippines, most specifically a ban on the 34 countries that have the new strain of Covid (UK variant). The specific ban on travel from the 34 countries is set to expire on January 31st. I’m writing this on January 20th, so we’ll see if that ban is extended or not. But please pray that we would be able to set a departure date for the Philippines soon, that the Lord would make a way for us to enter the country, and that He would continue building our support team in the meantime. Please also pray for our progress in language acquisition (both Visayan (trade language of southern Philippines) and Ancient Greek). Praise the Lord that all of these things are going well so far (except for entry into the Philippines). Praise the Lord for technology to do language study from home. Praise that our family is doing well, and we’re able to live in our apartment until we move overseas. Please pray we would remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit in all things. Thank you!
