May 2021 Prayer Needs from Travis and Natasha Phillips

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Thank you, once again, for bringing our praises and requests before the throne of grace. As you may have heard, coronavirus cases are currently surging in the Philippines, but vaccine rollout is also happening. We appreciate prayers for the Filipinos who are very sick, and comfort for families who are losing loved ones. On May 1, we expect to know more about what this surge will mean for border re-opening. Things were re-opening nicely, but this recent surge created a setback. We are ready to go, and we would appreciate prayer for the Lord to exercise his power to allow missionaries, including us, back into the country. We continue to study the Visayan language and Travis is continuing his Greek studies as well as working alongside one of our field leaders doing a people group assessment project for the Philippines. We appreciate prayers for wisdom and stamina in these things. Lastly, we appreciate prayers for our daily walk with the Lord and that we would raise our children well and prepare Eleanor as well as we can for the big transition ahead. May the Lord be glorified in your lives and ours as we all walk in the Spirit and offer ourselves as a living sacrifice to Him.

Blessings in Jesus’ name,
Travis and Natasha
