Aug 2022 Prayer Needs from Travis and Natasha Phillips

Dear prayer partners, Thank you for your prayers! We miss seeing your faces, but we know the Lord has brought us to the other side of the world for His purposes (2 Cor. 5:19)!Here are a few of our praises and prayer requests for August, 2022:Praise and request #1: Our girls had a wonderful week of VBS, and it helped them get more comfortable with the local kids. The language is still very challenging for them, so please pray for their ability and willingness to learn Bisaya. Praise and request #2: Natasha was able to head into a new church planting work for a “house blessing” just before new Filipino missionaries moved in. The village has never been taught the Scriptures before, so there are no believers. Please pray for this village and the many other villages even further into the mountains that have yet to be taught through God’s word. The house blessing went well, and it seems the missionaries have received a warm welcome.Praise and request #3There is a good chance we will fly into one of our mission’s older church plants where the church has been planted and multiplying for many years. We are excited for this opportunity to learn from the veteran missionaries and to see what the Lord has done in that region.Praise and request #4Language and culture learning continues to go well! Please pray for this growth to continue, as this is our main responsibility during this season of life!
