Feb 2023 Prayer Needs from Travis and Natasha Phillips

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

   Thank you for your prayers and support. Natasha and I are in Phase 4 (of 5) of language studies, meeting daily with our language helpers, and also recording the life stories of our Bisaya friends in the community and doing follow up with them. We appreciate continued prayer that the Lord would continue to open our ears more and more to this complex language and open our minds and loosen our tongues to speak it well.

We have enjoyed good health for several weeks and we are thankful for that! Praise the Lord. Please also pray that our children’s hearts would continue to open up to their little Filipino friends and that their resistance to learning the Bisaya language would continue to decrease as they get more comfortable hearing and understanding it.

We thank the Lord for a good 2022, and for many things He has already done in 2023. We are trusting Him for continued learning and for opportunities share the gospel and encourage local churches toward making Christ known. Thank you, again, for your prayers!
