May 2021 Prayer Needs from Bob and Susan

Here are my May prayer requests, the Evangel Gathering: Sacred Roots Thriving In Ministry, May 13-15. Please join me in praying for the 24 leaders of church planting movements that we will be hosting at our annual Evangel Gathering. This is an invite-only event with the leaders of their church planting movement committed to the following V.I.M.: Vision: Every delegate will leave the conference with a vision and plan for apprenticing church planters and leaders by using key spiritual classics from early church leaders. Intention: Every delegate will accept the challenge and commit to lead a cohort of apprentice church planters and leaders in order that the call and vision the Lord has given you to lead your church planting movement will thrive.Means: Every delegate will be equipped through Sacred Roots workshops on how to use four spiritual classics to apprentice church planters and leaders in a cohort format for 1-year (2021-2022). The following M.O.U.'s, by the grace of God, will be signed this month allowing us to move forward with the leader’s vision for church planting. Please pray for the strength, wisdom, and resources needed in partnering to bring into fruition the vision of the leader as stated in the MOU. Peter Watts with the Reformed Church of America. The MOU would partner us in planting micro-churches and micro-schools in communities of povertyCarol Johnson, founder and President of Operation Praxis and Pillar Network. The MOU would partner us in equipping 25 missional communities in church plant training. Joseph Biswas, founder and President of Global Bangla Mission. The MOU would partner us informing the Bengali Network, a branch of the Evangel Network. Pray for wisdom and favor as I cast vision and opportunity to other leaders of church planting movements. Bishop Rob Northwood of the Mid-Atlantic Diocese of the Charismatic Episcopal Church (C.E.C.). I am working on an MOU "To gather the CEC Mid-Atlantic Region and other Kingdom relationships to re-look, re-challenge, re-inspire, and re-engage in aggressive missions leading to new converts, disciples made, existing churches strengthened and new churches established for the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom. Coz Crosscombe with the Anglican Church in Australia. We are in the very beginning stages to train pastors and church planters in the prisons. Coz met with the head of prison chaplains for Anglicare (the Anglican social work arm). He has met with multiple companies that are willing to employ returning citizens. There are spiritual barriers to work through. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to go before us. This could be an emerging new church planting movement within the Anglican denomination beginning in Australia. Pray that the Engel Family would be drawn closer to God in Christ Jesus. Pray for me that I continue to stay hungry and clear on the vision for a healthy church in every community of poverty here and around the world.
