March 2023 Prayer Needs Luke and Jessica Thek

pray for our time in the wabuku tribe. We are here learning from missionaries who have been here a long time. Pray our time is fruitful. 

Pray for wecot. She is a lady in wabuku that has some sort of mental illness. She talks gibberish all the time, and has been violent at times. The people say she has gone in and out of this state for months at a time. Pray she regains her mind soon. 

Pray for literacy in wabuku. One of the missionaries here, Lisa, has been teaching a course for people who know how to read so that they can increase their reading speed and eventually teach literacy courses themselves. This is bf or the purpose of people being able to read Gods word in their own language. 

Praise the lord that we have solidified a team of two other families to partner with in reaching a people group here in Papua New Guinea!
