July 2024 Prayer Needs Luke and Jessica Thek

Pray for our ability to learn the Uruwa language. We have just begun and we are feeling the weight of such a huge task but we are also excited! We need the Lords help to do this for sure!

Pray for us as God guides us to which people he would like for us to grow relationships with as we spend lots of time with them in order to learn language. Pray he would guide us to the right people.

Pray for the hearts of the Uruwa people. We are already being endeared by so many: Saknan, Asias, Mono, Nyali, Munap, Siusi, Naomi, Enoch, Girimo, Tauros, Leeslin, Oinike, Jayleen, and many more. We can’t wait to share the truth with them one day.

Pray that God helps give us incredible insight into the Uruwa culture so that we can best know how to exemplify Christ among them before we even have the capability to share the good news with them.
