August 2024 Prayer Needs Luke and Jessica Thek

We would love prayer for the following

That God would guide us as we continue to discover who may be the best people to teach us the Uruwa language. We are making many new friends and we hope that some will stick with us for the long journey of learning language. These relationships will also be foundational as we one day teach the Bible

That god would help us to learn the Uruwa language

That God would provide opportunities for us to show Christ far before we can speak the Uruwa language so that the Uruwa people would be interested in what Christ has to offer them for when we one day teach his word 

That we would have discernment as we learn the Uruwa culture so that we can navigate relationships and hard situations in a Christ honoring way

That our marriage would continue to remain strong and be able to weather the storms that the enemy is sure to bring
