Dec. 2023 Prayer Needs from Travis and Natasha Phillips

Greetings dear friends and family!

Thank you so much for thinking of us and for taking the time to praise the Lord with us and bring these requests before the throne of grace. November and December of 2023 are unique months in that we are actually in the United States! After about 21 months in the Philippines, we have a short home assignment to update churches and individual ministry partners on what has been happening in life and ministry, and what tasks and roles are on the horizon. The added blessing of this is getting to spend the holidays with family. We were planning to do a home assignment next year, but because of our visas and a temporary ministry assignment we were asked to step into, this was the only time before 2025 that we would be able to do a home assignment.

We are currently 40,000 feet in the air as I write this, about 7 hours from touching down in California! Technology is amazing. We praise the Lord for this opportunity to come back to the states and see so many of you. We appreciate prayer for our various opportunities to not only share about our current ministry in the Philippines, but about cross-cultural ministry in general, as well. Prayers for safety in travel, clarity and enthusiasm as we share, balancing rest as a family and quality time with others, and finally our daily walk with the Lord and spiritual vitality are all greatly appreciated. This is our first home assignment, and we think it will be a great learning opportunity for us. We hope our time in the U.S. is a blessing to many others as well.
