December 2021 Prayer Request from Mitchel and Shari Janzen

“Youth For Christ Home Front Missions are teams of students with an adult coach who together, actively love in a way that naturally invites their friends to follow Jesus with them.”  Teams spend time together telling stories of Jesus in their week.  They pray for one another and their lost friends and discover ways to love the lost like Jesus does.  This way of living, this kind of unity, is what overcomes shame. It’s one thing to be shamed when we’re alone.  It’s another when our friends are there and we know they love us.  And it’s a whole other thing when those friends remind us that Jesus is stand by, scars and all.

Kids are under fire.  Please pray for them.  And pray for Youth For Christ as we team up with kids on or near the front lines “to hold fast the confessions of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful, and let us consider how to stir one another to love and good works, not neglecting meeting together, as is the habit of some, but all the more as we see the Day drawing near.”  Hebrews 10:23-25.  Together, we are the light of the world.  Merry Christmas from all of us at Youth for Christ
