February 2021 Prayer Requests from Cory and Kristiana Miller

We pray for hope and healing in the world: for an end to the Coronavirus pandemic, revitalized economies, and both peace and justice in our governments, businesses, churches, families, and individual lives. God, help us love one another better, with greater generosity and understanding, humility, gentleness, and radical selflessness. Help us love like you. We pray for God’s clear guidance and provision in our family’s journey. Please pray with us for favor with the Bund Evangelikale Gemeinden in Austria, which we are hoping will extend an invitation to us, allowing us to apply for residency there. Pray that both Cory and I will pass the necessary German language exams to begin our application. Cory is studying hard, but language learning without daily immersion is very difficult. Pray that our application process would be smooth and successful (for a change), and supernaturally quick, granting us a path to ministry and a new home in Vienna this spring. We would also appreciate your prayers over our hearts through this process, as we often feel overwhelmed and discouraged. Please pray, too, for our daughters. Rylynn and Melody have moved from California to Ireland to Austria to the US again, traveling around until we landed here in Illinois for a time, which has turned out to be much, much longer than expected. Rylynn’s schooling has been hectic and choppy, mixing three different school systems and (now) trying to do first grade entirely online, which is often frustrating both for her and for us. Thanks to the pandemic, Melody’s formal education has been non-existent (age 4). Both girls are starved for real social interactions with peers, and the instability of our lives this past year and a half has been tough on them. We long for their thriving, and for a home where they can put down some roots and make friends. 2020 was difficult for us, and maybe it was for you, too. The New Year doesn’t feel different just yet, but we hope for change, the redemption of great loss, and the coming of Spring. Thank you for standing with us in the wait
