January 2022 Prayer Requests from Cory and Kristiana Miller
Thank you, ABC (please pass this on!), for your generosity both now and over the past year. We are so grateful for this partnership and the varied ways that ABC has supported us as a family and our ministry to missionary kid teens across Europe. The process has been slow and arduous, so we're a little bit apprehensive as we prepare for this upcoming shift in ministry location to Vienna, Austria, but we are confident that God has good and meaningful plans for us in that place. We are actually flying to Vienna tomorrow, in hope that this time we will be able to stay
Here are some ways the church can pray for us as we approach the new year.
- Please pray over our 2021/2022 GEM-K Winter Camp event, which will take place over New Years in France (God willing). This is our first fully-fledged GEM-K camp since the pandemic started, so we could use prayer over all the complex logistics of gathering teenagers from various countries right now! We'd also love to see God work powerfully in the teenagers that come, blessing them and growing them toward him.
- Praise God that the judge ruled in our favor and Kristiana's residency permit was finally granted! We still have one more major need, though. Please pray that we would finally receive a date from Austria's immigration department to collect our residency cards—before we leave for France. We need that date and those cards to legally reside in Austria.
- Pray for our daughters, Rylynn and Melody, as they reenter Austrian school and Kindergarten. They understand some German, but speaking and academics are a major hurdle, which can be discouraging. Pray, too, that God would provide kind friends for them in their new home.
