April 2021 Update from Brooke Bateman

Dear ABC family,
Thank you for your faithful prayers. I did receive my 5-year religious visa!!! Praise God. I now have a married couple coming to my home almost daily to teach me Romanian! Please pray that I will continue to both Romanian Sign language and Romanian and culture very well so I can be most effective in ministry. My big prayer request for this month is that I would prepare well for an international conference coming up the last week of April. The conference is one week long and I will be interpreting in American Sign Language. Praise God for the Deaf leaders participating in this big conference. Please give all wisdom as Bible translators and workers from all across the globe are seeking to evaluate past methods of ministry and discuss future methods, goals, and what changes of approaches may be needed. The content of the conference is very heavy as well as international speakers. Please pray I can hear clearly, have energy for full days of interpreting, and interpret with excellence. And please pray the technology and all the logistics will work well!
