May 2022 Prayer Needs from Travis and Natasha Phillips

Dear prayer partners,

Thank you for your prayers! We're in the full swing of things with trade language and culture acquisition, so we would greatly appreciate prayers for good health, good sleep and good employer-employee relationships to keep progressing well in language and hopefully be a good testimony for Christ in our home.

By the time you're reading this, we're just starting phase 2 in Bisaya language studies. Natasha will begin working with a new language helper on May 2, so please pray for that relationship as well. Our language helpers are crucial to helping us learn language, but also to give us insights into the culture of our host country.

We praise the Lord for carrying us through these past few months in the Philippines, and for His grace in allowing us to grow in the Bisaya language. Please also pray for our new coworkers and their kids who just moved to our city and are setting up their homes.

Most of all, we are thankful for His mercy and grace through Jesus, who became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God. What a profound truth to consider. What a privilege to share this message with those who haven’t heard. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement and financial support. We are so thankful for each of you who plays a role in our ministry.
