April 2023 Prayer Needs from Travis and Natasha Phillips

Thank you for your prayers and support. It’s looking like April will be a unique month for our family. Our leadership team offered us an opportunity to fly to the northern Philippines to observe a phase 3 language and culture evaluation in a tribal village context. Leadership wants me to experience this to see if I would be interested in further training down the road to conduct these evaluations for other missionaries both in villages and in the city. Our main language and culture evaluator will be moving back to his home country for at least the next few years, so our field will need someone to fill his role. We appreciate prayers for wisdom, safety in travel and in the village, and that we would be an encouragement to the missionaries in the village.

We also appreciate prayer for our ministry every Friday in the jail.

We appreciate prayer for our own language and culture learning and for evangelism opportunities as we are currently enjoying a month-long festival in our city in which there are special activities just about every day. Our pastor is working on creating Bisaya gospel tracts, and I (Travis) hope to help him with content.
