July 2023 Prayer Needs Luke and Jessica Thek

July Prayer requests:

Our friends Peter and Julie have not been doing too well lately. We pray that they can reconcile well and follow the Lord to a strong marriage. I recently had a great conversation with Peter and he took my rebuke well. I just pray what he said comes to fruition in his life.

Pray for Josephine and Jess. Josephine just said that she would like to hear teaching from the Bible and Jess plans to meet with her 3 times a week to go through a Genesis to Christ curriculum that is really good. Pray for Jess as she prepares and for Josephine as she hears.

Please continue to pray for God’s guidance as we continue to seek out allocating in the Nungon Dialect of the Yau language. We are looking for God to guide us as we look towards August for a comprehensive survey of the area.

Please pray for our coworkers the Weavers. They are in the US on home assignment and we pray that their family can be refreshed and ready to comeback to PNG to join us!

Please Pray for the Mibu church. This is a people group in the same mountain range as the area we are looking into but more than a weeks hike away. There have been reports of gang activity in their area and they need prayer for protection.
